The Get Lost Market is a two day event hosted along the winding paths of Sons and Daughters Winery.

This is an opportunity for the entire Niagara region to come out on a beautiful fall day and get lost in the beauty, get lost in nature, get lost in the community and maybe find something you didn't know you were looking for.

Each year, there continues to be no litter, helpful hands when needed, and so much love and support. The weather was a bit iffy this year but you weren’t, you made sure it would be a success rain or shine and that meant the world to us.

To our volunteers. More to come on this because there’s just too many and we want to acknowledge you properly!

To our neighbours on Centre Street. This weekend gets busy and we appreciate your patience and support - You make this possible.

To our family and your families, who support us in the biggest and smallest ways leading up to and throughout the weekend. Each vendor has their own support crew and we certainly have ours - warm meals, coffee runs, setup help, validation, and so much more. It takes a village.

Day 1 • The Fenwick Market 2025

All the tents have been put to sleep, waiting for tomorrow.

Today was beautiful. It was a beautiful, choreographed dance between the market, the vendors and all of you.

With each passing year things get more and more smooth, more simple, but never less exciting or enchanting.

Everyone knew where to go, set-ups and preparations were lovely, with little echos everywhere of friends old and new seeing each other again.

Then there's all of you, arriving through sun beams, through cloudy skies and through the moments of drizzles. Finding treasures, enjoying food and reminding us why we've been running around in the rain for the past few days.

Honestly, on a day like to day we weren't sure what to expect.

We knew what we were hoping for, what we were wishing for - but we never could have imagined that having all of you here, vendors and guests, would make this the warmest day of the year.

We wanted to hop on here and give a very special shout out to our community partners the Niagara Indoor Pickleball Association and Centre Street Pickleball.

This year this great local organization is working with us to share, and make the most of the parking area at the old Centre Street school (or Concordia).

You may know that 1165 Centre Street is home to NIPA and Centre Street Pickleball. It's been really great to see this space come to life for such a cool group.

After meeting with the reps from NIPA earlier this year, we knew it would be so great to work together to benefit both groups on this exciting weekend!

Feel free to stop by Niagara Indoor Pickleball Association’s demo pickleball games on your way into or out of the parking area. They will have reps out to answer questions and talk pickleball!

We are really, really lucky to be in a community as supportive as this one!

Every year we are honestly blown away by how respectful all our guests are, there's never any litter, everyone is patient getting in and out and all of that makes for a really beautiful weekend.

We are also extremely grateful to share our piece of Centre street with incredibly supportive and welcoming neighbours. For four years we have been really touched by their patience as we grew and grew. Despite rows and rows of cars and so many pedestrians on our little country road, we've never once run into a problem.

This year we are working hard to improve our parking situation and we are so lucky to have two great community partners jumping on board for that! (special post coming soon) this year we will have dedicated parking volunteers directing traffic.

Here is a really important reminder: We have the use of the entire school lot + football field!! There's so much parking back there! Please consider parking and making the stroll part of your outing! Or! If it is better suited for your situation we will have "family drop off" in the front area of the lot and you can drop off some of your group, strollers,wagons etc, and have one person park the car. We really want to take full advantage of the back lot this year before we see our little street start to fill up! It means a lot to us if we can work together to keep the parking running smoothly throughout the entire market.

In the spring of 2022 we decided we really, really wanted to try and host a community market.

Honestly we didn't really know where to start, but we just knew it had to be special - with thoughtful details and genuine connections.

But here's something that only a few people know about.

In the fall of 2021 we were in Fenwick and we saw this little pop up at the Garage - and there was this stunning black trailer and this trailer had a big "g" on it.

Fast forward to April 2022 and our very first market strategy meeting - We looked at each other and said, if we can just get @groundswellcoffeecompany on board than this will work.

Why? Honestly I think it was just how Kristie talked about the community, small businesses, her town and of course... coffee, that day we'd met. You could tell this was someone that puts her all in everything she does.

So that's when it got sort of intense (sorry Kristie ♥️) because of course when we showed up at was it...4-5 different markets to scope out vendors and then showed up at Kristie’s window with the same "hey we are doing this thing and we think it could be very cool". Finally she was like..."ok who are you?"

We chatted, we explained the vision and she was on board. Ever since - Kristie has been a pillar for us! She knows everybody, loves this community, cares about genuine connections more than anyone you'll ever meet - she dreams big. TFM would never be what it is today if she hadn't come on board and then let the entire world know about it.

So now it's been four years, and from those awkwardly persistent (ok creepy) beginnings has grown a really beautiful friendship.

You can come see @groundswellcoffeecompany for yourself next weekend. Here's all you need to know - Kristie's care, her love, her passion eminates in whatever she does - and that makes for a dang-good-cup-of-coffee.

In the fall of 2021 we were in Fenwick and we saw this little pop up at the Garage - and there was this stunning black trailer and this trailer had a big "g" on it.

Fast forward to April 2022 and our very first market strategy meeting - We looked at each other and said, if we can just get @groundswellcoffeecompany on board than this will work.

Why? Honestly I think it was just how Kristie talked about the community, small businesses, her town and of course... coffee, that day we'd met. You could tell this was someone that puts her all in everything she does.

So that's when it got sort of intense (sorry Kristie ♥️) because of course when we showed up at was it...4-5 different markets to scope out vendors and then showed up at Kristie’s window with the same "hey we are doing this thing and we think it could be very cool". Finally she was like..."ok who are you?"

We chatted, we explained the vision and she was on board. Ever since - Kristie has been a pillar for us! She knows everybody, loves this community, cares about genuine connections more than anyone you'll ever meet - she dreams big. TFM would never be what it is today if she hadn't come on board and then let the entire world know about it.

So now it's been four years, and from those awkwardly persistent (ok creepy) beginnings has grown a really beautiful friendship.

You can come see @groundswellcoffeecompany for yourself next weekend. Here's all you need to know - Kristie's care, her love, her passion eminates in whatever she does - and that makes for a dang-good-cup-of-coffee.

Meet Laura of @lilahlaneco

"Lilah Lane began nine years ago while I was on maternity leave with my second child, Lilah. I’ve been a self-taught sewist since I was young, always drawn to creating and experimenting on my mom’s sewing machine.

Lilah Lane is about children’s clothing designed to grow with little ones. Ensuring comfort, quality, and long lasting clothes.

In 2018, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with stage 4, incurable breast cancer. I initially started selling off my fabric stash, thinking I needed to prepare for the worst, after all the life expectancy was just 1-3 years. I quickly realized sewing wasn’t something I could give up. It became my outlet, my therapy, and a vital piece of normalcy when everything else felt uncertain.

Today, almost seven years later, I’m still here, thriving, and so is Lilah Lane!"

"I started this maker journey during my first mat leave 6 years ago. It took a bit to narrow my craft but now there’s no turning back. I love felt because of the variety of projects that I can create. I enjoy making my own patterns and experimenting with new ideas. My favourite project are the tooth fairy pillows. I think it’s the sewing and how whimsical they are. My day job I am a Recreation Therapist at a local hospital. I get to work with a geriatric population by providing daily programs which typically have a creative component to them. I love how much creative expression I get to do in my career and also for myself when i create for Creative Mylestones. Crafting truly is my outlet. When I'm not crafting my family and I are found working on our acreage. This includes tending to our chickens, turkey, bunnies, cat and dogs. We love gardening in the summer and making maple syrup in the winter. "

Meet Sherri of @creative_mylestones

"I started this maker journey during my first mat leave 6 years ago. It took a bit to narrow my craft but now there’s no turning back. I love felt because of the variety of projects that I can create. I enjoy making my own patterns and experimenting with new ideas. My favourite project are the tooth fairy pillows. The Fenwick Market may have been our dream. But it's all of you who make it a reality. Some of you have even played such a role that you've become a part of the very spirit of our beloved market.

This is one of those people.

We first met Tommy when he came to visit the farm a few weeks before our very first market. He came to do a site visit with his beautiful wife @alonajanephotography . We remember this well because our big mower got stuck in the lower field...and there was Tommy, no hesitation - right in the mud helping get it out. That sort of sums it up, from that very first year Tommy has been there, helping, doing things he doesn't have to do because he knows they need doing. There's probably a few vendors on here who've been helped by Tom, setting up or taking down.

When you read in the comments "it's more than just a market" and you wonder what the heck it's all about • this is sort of it. It's about what happens when business becomes personal, when a community comes together to support each other.

So this year if you're at the market you'll probably see Tom, he'll be doing something nice for someone and he probably won't be wearing shoes. Thanks Tommy, TFM wouldn't be the same without you.

We love seeing families at TFM, as parents ourselves we know how important it is to have a few things for the littles when you're heading to an event like this.

We will be honest though! You won't find bouncy houses or anything like that here (though we love a good bouncy house) we decided to focus on slower activities for kids and their parents, so the activities actually become part of the day out and add to the time you spend with them!

You'll find scavenger hunts, I Spy and a colouring station by our Mama Nursing Tent

This year we also have a few new things we can't wait for your littles to do and see!

"I started my business last year as a way to combine my love of crafting with my passion for sustainability. Every piece of jewellery is handmade by me using second-hand silverware, meaning that when you make a purchase you are supporting sustainable practices and giving a once-forgotten item a new life. Each piece carries its own unique history, and many are one-of-a-kind designs.

The name The Collector was inspired by the story that magpie collect shiny objects. I love the idea that something small or overlooked can be transformed into something beautiful when seen in a new perspective. That’s exactly what I aim to do with my work.

Countless hours go into creating each piece, and I’m so excited to share them with you at the Fenwick Market!"
